Manchester City are in a shock transfer line, trying to break the bank to land former Manchester United superstar Christiano Ronaldo.
City interest in Ronaldo has open a new chapter in this summer's
transfer surprises. But If any deal is to be pull through then City will have to do the extra-ordinary
to land this superstar, Ronaldo. Has it were now two big clubs in Europe has already shown interest with PSG tabling the sum of £55 to Real to sign him and was quickly rejected and his former team Manchester United packaging an offer that is worth £77m to lure him back to Old trafford. With City coming in now, then they will have to go extra mile like making an offer worth 130m and package a wage pay of up to £350,000 a week if at all they are going to lure him to Etihad stadium.
However, as for now this transfer bomb will only be
raging like a ray of fire because it is clear that even if Ronaldo will
leave Bernabue, it is 80% sure that it will not be this summer. But if
any move is pull to the wall this summer for the superstar. I bet it.
It must be a record deal close to 150m.
City
is already aware that signing this player will be a major hurdle to overcome, but Starsport understands
that both chief executive Ferran Soriano and football director Txiki
Begiristain have told the player’s representatives they are deadly
serious in their interest.
And they have made it clear that if
Real are open to letting the Portugal ace leave, they will go as far as
it takes to blow their Manchester rivals out of the water.
City chairman Sheik Mansur has made it clear to Soriano that
should Ronaldo come onto the market, City have to do everything possible
to clinch his signature. Ronaldo has two years left of his
current deal in Spain, but despite making public claims a new deal is
close, Real have yet to make ANY formal contract offer.
City is in desperate need of a replacement for Carlos Tevez and needs to strenghten their squad to as to to be able to challenge for trophies, not only premier league but with Champions League too. So if this transfer comes out to be true, it will be a big blow to Manchester United and even to all premier league clubs because City will dominate.
