Latest Transfer News have it that Athletico Madrid make £17.5m bid for Arsenal's Santi Cazorla with another reports claiming they have Agreed personal terms with Carzorla.

Atletico's chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin was in London on Tuesday night to try and convince the 28-year-old to return to his homeland. Cazorla has not travelled with the Arsenal squad on their pre-season tour of Asia after he was given extra time to rest as he represented Spain in the FIFA Confederations Cup last month.

Spanish media outlets Onda Cero and Radio MARCA  claimed that Atletico had agreed personal tems with the playmaker, who joined the Gunners last summer and had a terrific debut season in England in which he scored twelve goals and made sixteen assists.

 
In another development it has been reported that Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Arsenal star Santi Cazorla, according to the same  Spanish paper Marca.
Miguel Angel Gil Marin is in London after reaching an agreement with the player, who would welcome back Atletico Spain.

The agreement with the player is total and Atletico are already in talks to snap the star away from us in the coming weeks

It will come as a shock to make to see that any sort of deal has been agreed for one of the clubs best players and many will be hoping that the Spanish star does not leave the club.
He was mightily impressive last season and is vital to the clubs immediate success, and if we want to get back into the habit of picking up silverware we should not sell our best players, no matter what.

The Spanish club have cash to spend after selling Radamel Falcao to AS Monaco for £51 million, and have already bought his replacement, striker David Villa from Barcelona for £5.1 million.But this deal is 90% to 10% to materialize.
