It has been reported that the deal involving Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara and Manchester United has take a new turn after deciding to link up with former boss Pep Guardiola at Munich.
The option to join United was to facilitate his call up to the Spain national team for the 2013 World cup. But However, the deal is expected to be out of the hook of Manchester United now.
The news will be a huge blow to new manager David Moyes, who had hoped
to use Thiago to bolster his midfield options due to the retired Paul Scholes with Darren Fletcher and Anderson not a reliable option.
With Manchester United currently on their first leg of their tour to Far East and Australia, this news will somehow dampen their spirit but they are expected to move on surely they will get another good player.
Their tour which will move on to
Australia on Sunday before stops in Yokohama, Osaka where they will finally head to Hong Kong on
July 29. They are expect to play against Singha All stars on Saturday, which will surely have a big sell-out.
